Thank you for your interest in utilizing space at Highlands United Methodist Church. The building and facilities of Highlands United Methodist Church belong to the United Methodist Church in the care of its members. Groups who wish to use the facilities are required to complete this form. Decisions to rent space are based on the size and makeup of the group, the intended purpose of the group's meeting, current building availability, expected wear and tear on the facility and reliability of the applicant. Priority will go to benevolent community organizations that are service and education oriented.

Highlands United Methodist Church is a shared space for many community groups. As such, we do not allow any storage of materials beyond the time of the rental. In addition, we do require a modest rental fee and a one-time cleaning fee from all groups utilizing space at Highlands UMC. These fees are due before the reservation is made and are non-refundable. This policy ensures that the community spaces at Highlands remain clean and up-to-date for everyone.

Event Information

The following spaces are available for rent at Highlands UMC:

The Garage ($30/hr) 
Fellowship Hall and Kitchen ($85/4hrs)
Parlor ($60/4hrs)
Education Room ($40/4hrs)
Sanctuary (Case by Case Basis)

All paid times include a half hour before and after scheduled event times for set up and clean up. (i.e.- 6-8 slot includes 5:30 set up and 8:30 strike.) "Leave it how you found it!"

EVENT INSURANCE is strongly encouraged as HUMC is not liable for any injuries or damages associated with your event. Learn more about event insurance at this link:

All rentals require a janitorial fee: one-time rentals=$20, weekly rentals=$40/mo. Payment is required before the reservation is booked and is non-refundable.

Although it is highly unlikely, unexpected events that require the use of the facility by the church, such as a sudden funeral service, will take precedence, and other users may be forced to give up their reservation. If this occurs, you will be fully refunded for your reservation.
